Painted plein air in a secret location on the southern California coast. The bright and warm afternoon highlighted the warm colors on the cliffs and the azure, turquoise and ultramarine hues in the water. Afternoons like this one are why I just love painting outside.
 
This 11 x 14 inch original oil painting was completed on natural linen panel, and the linen on the edges is untouched, giving the painting a contemporary, casual beachy vibe. Sold unframed.
