I love painting the beauty and light of southern California! 

Exploring and creating amid the coast, lagoons and hills of North County San Diego is endlessly fascinating. I also enjoy composing small still life paintings. Bright cheerful colors and a loose alla prima style define my work. 

Over the years my family has lived in many parts of the US - from the east coast to the west, and points in between. In each place I painted and studied art - including taking classes at The Art League of Alexandria Virginia, The Smithsonian, The Kansas City Art Institute and Watts Atelier in Encinitas, California.
