This is an original, hand painted work of art. I wanted to create a scene that invokes a mother's protection, and a child's aspiration - using flowers to add a whimsical touch.

This painting is on 140 pound cold press watercolor paper and was completed with Sennelier's famous honey based watercolors, Daniel Smith watercolors, M. Graham watercolors and Dr. Ph Martins Radiant Watercolors. I added inks to the watercolors producing an effect that is more opaque with very vivid layers of color. The paints are light fast and will not fade over time.

This is an original painting and not a print. The painting measures 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
